Designer Election Fashion

If you’ve been on social media, you likely noticed a certain cheerful and colorful t-shirt dominating the election-related posts of late, especially among celebrities. It was produced as a limited edition “election-wear” tee by none other than fashion designer Tory Burch (image top). Burch released the shirt in September in order to encourage voter registration, especially among millenials, working in tandem with actress Yara Shahidi’s “Eighteen x 18” organization, which had a summit this fall in L.A. to encourage voter turnout among this younger demographic. (Available at Tory Burch stores, the designer’s website, and at Shopbop.com). But Burch isn’t the only clothier getting into the midterms.

Levi’s has also gotten on board the limited edition “Vote” tee theme, creating a shirt to support the Rock the Vote organization, dedicated to increasing voter awareness and turnout especially among young people. (Available online or at Levi’s stores for both men and women.)

Other fun designer voter t-shirt fashion inspired by the midterms includes one by designer icon Diane von Furstenberg:
