Winter White Coats, Meghan Markle Style
I'm pretty excited to see that a girl from my own backyard in L.A. will become a member of the British royal family (in case you missed it, Prince Harry's engaged!). She's smart, talented, and clearly has style. The white coat she wore during the press event for the engagement announcement was perfection (by a company called Line the Label; sold out of course)! I love white for winter--check out the coats I found that recall The Markle Look:
If you're obsessing on Meghan's oversized lapels on her coat like I am, this double-breasted one (image above) with its petal-like collar may do the trick.
But if you like some twirly flare plus a trenchcoat-like sash, this one (above) may be your sweetheart.
Check out this 3/4 length coat. A slim, tailored look in a wool blend that'll work for either the office or that date later with a prince...
I think even Meghan might be able to pull off a look as groovy as this shaggy number.
Finally, this is something perfect for L.A.--a thin and lightweight wool blend with a relaxed cut: Disney Concert Hall, Getty Museum, winter brunch in Santa Monica, here I come (it's actually classified as a sweater)!
What do you think of Meghan's style?
